Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!
My name is Abdul-Vakhab and I'm muslim from Russia. In 2015 I received a Master's Degree in Condensed Matter Physics and Nanotechnology at St. Petersburg State University. Currently I'm doing a PhD in Germany. I want to use my skills in graphic & motion design, animation, visual effects, creation and promotion of websites to benefit this ummah and this deen for the sake of Allah.

Three years ago I started project called "Islamic youth" in the russian segment of the internet. I have created youtube channel,  website and groups in social networks (facebook, instagram and popular in Russia vk.com). I make Quran recitations, animations of the Hadiths, translate vocal nasheeds and other dawah videos. Since the channel was launched by the Grace of Allah I have created over 300 videos and reached over 10,000,000 viewers and gained the support of over 27,000 Subscribers on YouTube.

One year ago I decided IT is time to move to a new level of performance. I saved some money and bought equipment for dubbing home studio (see fig. below). On 20th April 2016 Mission Dawah channel was created.

Since that day I have been translating and dubbing islamic lectures, creating and editing high quality dawah videos and have now crossed over 50 videos. You can visit Mission Dawah channel for all of my videos done to-date.

Recently I have started new series on the channel "100 Greats from the Islamic Nation" aiming to revisit the lost history of Islam by presenting the achievements of muslim historical characters.

The funds will go towards:

  • Purchasing proper equipment for video editing (with the equipment I currently own just rendering the final 15 min composition in FullHD takes 46 hours).
  • Purchasing studio microphone (Neumann TLM 107) and preamp (Golden Age Project Pre-73).
  • Translating islamic lectures from arabic (translation from english and turkish I do myself). The best option I found is 5$ per 1800 characters.
  • Buying High Quality Footage.

This is your opportunity to get involved and be part of Dawah! Your support will allow me to continue to produce high quality content. This is one of the greatest forms of Sadaqah Jariya (which will continue to benefit you and others even after you leave this world). Choose from one of the options on the right hand column.

Continue to achieve good deeds after you have passed away

Think of the following situation: you give dawah to a non-Muslim who at the age of 19 or 20 becomes a Muslim with the guidance of Allah. After a few years, he may settle down with another Muslim and In sha Allah have children who are raised on this deen as well as themselves having a long and pious life. Then a portion of the reward achieved by all these individuals would come back into your book of deeds. It does not stop there because this friend may become a scholar, or his/her children may become scholars or they themselves may invite many others towards Islam. In sha Allah, all of these actions will find a portion of the reward into your account for the initial dawah you gave.
